Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life

Have you ever wondered about the meaning of life? Has it ever occured to you that you may not have had a purpose, or you are just here because you are your parents' child, your siblings' sibling, or your friends' friend? All of these questions had never occurred to Jeremy Fink, a city born almost teenager. But, as soon as a mysterious box, said to contain the meaning of life (supposedly made by his dead father), is delivered to him on the first day of summer vacation, this question is circling his head. It is to be opened on Jeremy's thirteenth birthday. There is only one problem: the previous owner of the box had misplaced the keys. So, Jeremy and his friend, Lizzy, must search all of New York to find the keys, but when they're last attempt draws them into community service, Jeremy thinks he'll never find them.
This is a great book, and every chapter will leave you wanting for more! It's a great summer read, and you'll never put the book down-- until you truly find the meaning of life.

i've already made a previous post on this book, but i realized that i deleted it... O.o
anyway, it was a good book, and for UBC (united books conference) i'm going to be jeremy! ain't that interesting...
also, i hope everyone does well on the finals! they're next week, and if i fail mine, i fail my life! YAY!!! :'(
so, you better study, and i better perfect my speech cuz i'm presenting on monday, and i am absolutely terrified...
the only times i am terrified:
1. when i have to take a huge test
2. when i go to hershey and see a huge roller coaster and my group teases me and says we're going on that ride when we weren't...
3. before/during/after the finals (before for worrying about studying; during for worrying about the actual final; after for worrying about the grade.
aren't i a paranoid person?

Heh heh, I loved this book too... never really got to last page; was kind of disgusted by the sand in the pages, you never know where library books travel to...

I think it needs a better hook though, a great book needs a great summary! No, I loved Jill's too. =)

Now that I think about it, I really didn't need to read all these pages to figure out the meaning of life is-! :is cut off:

LOL, sorry... No, I won't give away the ending, but I'm annoyed that Gmail has made the dashes cross out things, it's so weird using colons; even the word is strange! Sure, crossing out things are good... but is there much use for them?
Wahh... Jill won't be online except for Saturday...! =(
